Very good taco shop! Great asada burrito and tacos. Also a good cali burrito. Staff is awesome and comes with free chips

This Mexican eatery has been around for a long time. It also serves your local construction worker and landscaper daily so you know it's legit! It's more of a mom and pop shop than a taco shop as they are not open late night and serve a daily special meal 7 days a week. The place is very small and the parking lot very tight so it's setup best for take out. However, I recommend dining in for the Daily Special. The prices are fair and the menu is expansive. They even cater personal events too.

Absolutely phenomenal, yet brief experience due to the lightning fast service! You can tell a lot about a great place by their street tacos. Tortillas were perfect, meat perfectly seasoned, lightly charred & tender, onion & cilantro w/lime. Dude was so friendly and while being incredibly busy after fulfilling 20 orders back to back, he still managed to crack jokes, sweep, talk to me & gave me a free bag of chips. They were down one guy today and bro in the front held it down with his dad. He seems so passionate about the whole entire thing, like he didn't just want my money. He recommended a California burrito right off the bat with pride and I told him I can't have gluten :/ he seemed bummed I couldn't try the burrito and remained focused on helping me pick the best thing that I could have that I would also really enjoy. It's been a while since I walked away that satisfied a quick stop for food!! Will go out of my way to come back on my next trip to San Diego

Best taco shop in La Mesa possibly all of San Diego I give other spot a chance but sometimes I regret it should've just came here Food is on point, salsa is the best, & customer service is the friendliest they treat you kindly.

Weekly visitors! The owners here are the bomb. Consistency is always on point. And their food has stayed good quality and size, even with inflation!

Best Burritos, the meet it's so tender and good portion. They are very, very friendly. Very nice place to go., we ordered a Carne Sada burrito

I just moved close to this place and was trying it out. Overall it's pretty good and I will have to go back and test other things as well. I got 4 tacos, rice and beans. The carnitas was my favorite, then the pastor or the carne asada, and the Pollo asada was ok. The tacos were huge!!! I liked the beans and rice. The salsas were pretty good too. They were super nice when I picked up my order. I was too hungry so didn't get a chance to take pics. lol I'm happy this place is down the street and I'll have to go back.

Very friendly service and delicious food. Went in for a chorizo breakfast burrito. The chorizo was very good, not too dry and not dripping grease. The amount of filling ratios are spot-on. Many places I never taste the cheese and in this one you could see it even. Their green sauce is an avocado/hot sauce mixture. The red is great too, a little roasted flavor, not over-powering. They greeted me with a smile and actually acted like they wanted to be there. Too many places these days, everyone is frowning and totally unfriendly. I will go back to try other things for sure!
